The first event today is a new one. It is a mixed limit/no-limit holdem tournament in which each level the first 30 mins is limit poker and the last 30 mins is no-limit. I suspect I will be dealing in the tournament and hopefully the dealer coordinators and floor staff will be impressed enough that I can get some cash action soon. A casino dealers only tournament will commence this evening at 5pm. I met a few of the guys who will be participating, one I have had a little table time with a couple of months ago (but he didn't seem to remember). It would be cool to deal that event a little towards the end of my shift, but dealing to a table full of dealers might be a whole different sort of challenge.
