Hash House A Go Go

I was seriously considering a complete makeover for the summer. Throw in some exercise regimen and diet discipline and do my best to take care of my health a bit. I could certainly afford to drop about 50 lbs, and my diet habits recently have seriously degraded. If I can find a furnished room or efficiency, then that would help alot. A couple of years ago I tried the South Beach Diet and had pretty good success with it over six months or so. Then ....

While looking for an internet cafe this morning, I accidentally ran across a very interesting looking restaurant, Hash House A Go Go. The place looked like fun, I was hungry and seemingly lost on the west end of Sahara Blvd. Their mission statement is right on the door.
To keep the fun in food while pulling from the experiences of farm fresh agriculture, live stock, and old recepies with a twist.
After grabbing a newspaper to peruse the want ads, I ventured in and was very pleased with the environment. The menu had way too many great sounding items. I selected the crispy potato hash with roasted pork tenderloin, charred tomato, corn, baby green beans and mozzarella topped with scrambled eggs, whole wheat toast. The iced tea was great, and before you knew it a skillet arrived with my meal.

It was awesome and I can't wait to go back. Carbs might be a problem for me.
